When decorating garments, perfect placement and lining up graphics can be a challenge. Follow these guidelines for logo placement on shirts. Don’t forget, adjustmens may be necessary depending on the size and type of garment.
**Left Chest Logo Placement**
When decorating a left chest logo on a jacket, the design should be 3.5 to 4 inches from the center, and 6 to 8 inches from the seam of the left shoulder. If decorating the back, come down 6 to 9 inches from the seam of the collar.
**Polo Shirt Logo Placement**
Polo shirts typically feature the design on the left chest. It should be placed 4 to 6 inches from the center and 7.5 to 9 inches from the seam of the left shoulder.
**Full Front T-Shirt Logo Placement**
Full-front designs are typically placed 3 to 3.5 inches from the bottom of the neck’s edge.
**Names & Numbers**
When adding names and numbers to jerseys, the name should be 2 to 3 inches from the neckline, and the top of the number should be 1 to 2 inches below the name. Layout boards will help with the layout of individual letters and numbers, Thermo Tape will hold the deisgn in place once the logo is in place, and Lite-Tack Spray keeps logos in place before embroidery or heat application.
