How to Heat Press Triblends & Other Heat Sensitive Blank Apparel

With the rise of athleisure & retail fashion inspiring the wholesale market, today’s blank apparel is changing to be softer and more lightweight. To achieve this soft feel, many apparel blanks are now made up of a blend of materials such as cotton, polyester, rayon, or viscose. These blends make garments heat sensitive and harder to print with a heat press. In this video, Stahls' TV educator Courtney Kubitza teaches decorators how to successfully print heat sensitive fabrics, eliminate scorch marks, choose the right heat transfer for any job, and achieve trendy special effect finishes on triblend blanks.
